^23 (A)You were bought with a price; ^(B)do not become slaves of men. ²⁴ So, brothers,^{[a] (C)}in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God.

²⁵ Now concerning^[b] the betrothed,^{[c] (D)}I have no command from the Lord, but I give my judgement as ^(E)one who by the Lord's mercy is ^(F)trustworthy.
